Airline branding questions
Straight answers before you book a call.
What is airline branding?
The identity passengers meet from booking to the gate: name, mark, color, pattern, icons, voice and every place they appear. For TORIX we designed an angular, forward-pointing mark, a blue and black palette with diagonal stripes, a set of line icons, a booking app, a boarding pass, posters, billboards and airport signs, so each step of a trip looks like the same airline.
What makes a good airline logo?
It has to read at a distance and at a very small size. The TORIX mark is angular and forward-pointing, set out on a measured grid with a slanted wordmark, so it holds up as a small app icon, on a boarding pass and on large screens. Four words guide the brand: velocity, comfort, trust and mastery. A logo project takes 2–4 weeks.
Why do airlines rebrand?
Usually because the airline has changed: a new direction, a new service or a look that no longer matches the product. TORIX’s 2025 rebranding set out to show modern, seamless air travel with comfort, so the mark, stripe pattern, app, posters and airport signs now share one look under the line “Modern flights, timeless values.” A rebrand takes 6–12 weeks, with a fixed written proposal after a free 30-minute call.
How much does airline brand identity cost?
It depends on scope: strategy, logo, guidelines and the applications you need, such as signage, packaging or a website. After a free 30-minute call you get a written quote for your exact scope. Our guide to brand identity pricing explains what drives the cost.
How long does a brand identity project take?
A focused logo project takes a few weeks. A full identity with guidelines and launch assets takes longer. You get a clear timeline with your quote, before any work starts.
Do you work with airline and travel founders in the US and the Middle East?
Yes. We work with founders across the US and the Middle East, with calls in your time zone and files your team can use from day one.
What do we get at the end of the project?
A logo and mark, color and typography, brand guidelines and organized master files, plus any website, packaging or launch assets in your scope.
