Personal brandingUpdated

A brand built around you,
ready where people look you up.

Personal branding shapes how people see you as the person behind the work: what you’re known for, how you sound and how you look online. As a personal brand designer, I define your positioning, audience, messaging and voice, then design a wordmark or monogram, color, type and photo direction, and apply them to your profiles, posts and deck. It suits founders, consultants and experts whose name sells the work.

Is it right for you?

Right for you if

  • Clients buy from you, not only from your company: you’re a founder, consultant, coach or expert.
  • Your LinkedIn profile, website and deck each tell a different story about you.
  • You’re raising, speaking, publishing or launching, and people will look you up first.

Questions founders ask

Personal branding consultant or personal brand designer: which do I need?

Often both, and here they are one project. The strategy part covers the groundwork a personal branding consultant would also define: positioning, audience, messaging and voice. The design part turns it into a wordmark, color, type and templates you use every day. Ghostwriting and posting your weekly content are not part of it: you get the messages, voice and templates to post on your own or with a writer. If your strategy is already clear, we can agree on a scope that focuses on the design.

Where should a personal brand show up first?

Where the people you want to reach already look you up. For many professionals that is LinkedIn, which reports more than 1.3 billion members; for others it is Instagram, YouTube, a newsletter or a personal website. I design the profile and post templates for the channels you actually use, so you don’t have to keep up a look on channels you never post on. A website build is not included.

Should my personal brand use my own name?

It depends on your plans. A name-based brand is easy to start but ties the business to you. In the US, registering a mark identifying a living person needs their written consent; the USPTO presumes it only if you sign the application yourself, even if your company applies. A mark buyers see mainly as a surname can’t go on the Principal Register until it becomes distinctive through use, but may go on the Supplemental Register. If you may sell the business or grow beyond yourself, a separate name can be better. Naming is a separate service; your trademark lawyer confirms what can be registered.

Can you help with my Google knowledge panel?

Not directly. You claim the panel yourself: if Google shows one about you, click “Claim this knowledge panel” and sign in to one of the official sites or profiles Google lists, such as YouTube or Search Console. Google says not every panel can be claimed yet; you can still suggest changes through its Feedback link. What I design is a consistent look and the same key messages across your profiles, so people recognize you wherever they look you up.

Can my personal brand work in Arabic and English?

Yes. For the UAE and Saudi Arabia I design Arabic and English versions of the name, logo and type so they work as one brand, including right-to-left layouts. For a personal brand, that means your name as a wordmark in both scripts, and post and deck templates that also work right to left.

How much does personal branding cost?

It depends on the scope: what the personal brand needs to cover, for how many channels, markets and languages. After a free 30-minute call you get a fixed written proposal, so the price never changes mid-project.

How long does a personal brand take?

Usually 2 to 4 weeks, with weekly check-ins in your time zone and two revision rounds per phase.
