01

The challenge

Modern travel has become a race: more destinations, more photos and trips that blur together.

Wayfare builds journeys around local culture and everyday life, with fewer destinations, longer stays and routes shaped by the people who know them best.

02

The strategy

Go slow. See more.

The value of a journey isn’t measured by how many places you visit, but by how deeply you experience them. Fewer destinations, longer stays and locally crafted journeys turn travel from a checklist into a meaningful experience.

The symbol

Travel branding often celebrates speed. Wayfare was designed to feel calm, warm and unhurried.

Built from circles, open spaces and balanced forms, the sun symbol invites travellers to pause, look around and take a place in.

Campaign

Lines like “Stay longer than the photograph” carry the idea across billboards, bus shelters and social.

Travel branding questions

Straight answers before you book a call.

What is tourism branding?

It gives a destination or travel business an identity travelers recognize and choose. For a travel company it covers the idea, the symbol, color, type, voice and every place people meet the brand. Wayfare’s idea is “Go slow. See more.”, so its sun symbol, lime and olive palette and lines like “Stay longer than the photograph” all point to slower, deeper travel.

What makes a good travel agency logo?

One that says how you travel. Wayfare’s sun symbol is built from circles, open spaces and balanced forms so it feels calm, warm and unhurried, which matches the slow travel idea. It sits beside a lowercase wordmark and works in cream on olive, as a 3D form, on a business card and as a car air freshener. A logo project takes 2–4 weeks.

What colors work for a travel agency brand?

Colors that match the trips you sell. Wayfare pairs lime and soft yellow with cream and a deep olive green. Lime carries the brand on a jeep, a kayak, a backpack and a beach chair, while cream and olive give the website and print layouts plenty of room to breathe, which suits a brand about slowing down. Newsreader and Schibsted Grotesk set the type.

How much does travel agency brand identity cost?

It depends on scope: strategy, logo, guidelines and the applications you need, such as signage, packaging or a website. After a free 30-minute call you get a written quote for your exact scope. Our guide to brand identity pricing explains what drives the cost.

How long does a brand identity project take?

A focused logo project takes a few weeks. A full identity with guidelines and launch assets takes longer. You get a clear timeline with your quote, before any work starts.

Do you work with travel and hospitality founders in the US and the Middle East?

Yes. We work with founders across the US and the Middle East, with calls in your time zone and files your team can use from day one.

What do we get at the end of the project?

A logo and mark, color and typography, brand guidelines and organized master files, plus any website, packaging or launch assets in your scope.
