Electric vehicle branding questions
Straight answers before you book a call.
What does an automotive brand identity include?
It has to work in the app, inside the car and on the street. For SUPA that meant a slanted symbol and wordmark, electric orange (FF4919) with black and white, Geist type, a set of 45 device icons, the app and in-car display, and campaign lines like “Recharge your world” for posters and social. A full brand identity takes 4–10 weeks.
What makes a good electric car logo?
A simple, confident shape that still reads at small sizes. The SUPA symbol is a sharp, slanted mark drawn on a construction grid, next to a clean wordmark, and it works as a glowing orange app icon and on social cards. Electric car emblems often use lightning bolts; a shape built on your own idea sets you apart. A logo project takes 2–4 weeks.
How do you build an electric car brand?
Start with what the brand stands for, then design from it. SUPA’s mission is to make electric mobility accessible, exciting and empowering. The identity pairs electric orange with calm, dark screens, and the campaign speaks to drivers with lines like “Less noise. More power.” The process runs Discovery, Strategy, Identity, Handover, and it starts with a free 30-minute call and a fixed written proposal.
How much does electric car brand identity cost?
It depends on scope: strategy, logo, guidelines and the applications you need, such as signage, packaging or a website. After a free 30-minute call you get a written quote for your exact scope. Our guide to brand identity pricing explains what drives the cost.
How long does a brand identity project take?
A focused logo project takes a few weeks. A full identity with guidelines and launch assets takes longer. You get a clear timeline with your quote, before any work starts.
Do you work with EV and mobility founders in the US and the Middle East?
Yes. We work with founders across the US and the Middle East, with calls in your time zone and files your team can use from day one.
What do we get at the end of the project?
A logo and mark, color and typography, brand guidelines and organized master files, plus any website, packaging or launch assets in your scope.
