01

The brief

A seed company dedicated to the stewardship of the environment and to sustainable agriculture.

The goal was to evoke freshness, warmth and a connection to the natural world, with lively hues and organic shapes. The strategy rests on one idea: nature is essential for growth and nourishment.

02

The wordmark

A soft, hand-drawn wordmark that also stacks as “nur tur”, with the line “Growing Technology”.

Flat pea pod, tomato and carrot illustrations sit beside it, in solid color or as simple line art.

Color & type

Deep forest green, fresh lime, leaf green and tomato red, set in Core Rhino from Light to Bold.

Short, warm lines like “Plant today so it can grow tomorrow” and “It’s time to take action and cultivate growth” give the brand its voice.

Packaging & web

Seed packaging design with one big vegetable per pouch and the promise “Better Seeds Better Tomorrow”.

The website, “Premium Seeds for Maximum Yield”, uses the same pouches, photos and lime highlights to present tomato, bean and carrot seeds.

Agriculture branding questions

Straight answers before you book a call.

What should be on a seed packet?

Two layers. The label facts depend on where the seed is sold: Minnesota’s seed law, for example, asks home garden packets to show the kind and variety, a lot number, net weight or seed count, the year packed for and the labeler’s name and address. The front is for the buyer: each Nurtur pouch shows one big vegetable, the wordmark and the promise “Better Seeds Better Tomorrow”, so shoppers see the crop at a glance. Packaging design takes 2–4 weeks.

What makes a good seed company logo?

It has to read on a small seed pack and on a large sign, and feel close to the soil without looking old. Nurtur’s soft, hand-drawn wordmark also stacks as “nur tur”, comes in dark green, lime, red and green, and sits beside flat pea pod, tomato and carrot icons. The same mark works on seed pouches, a shipping container, a polo shirt and the website.

How much does seed company branding cost?

It depends on scope: strategy, logo, guidelines and the applications you need, such as signage, packaging or a website. After a free 30-minute call you get a written quote for your exact scope. Our guide to brand identity pricing explains what drives the cost.

How long does a brand identity project take?

A focused logo project takes a few weeks. A full identity with guidelines and launch assets takes longer. You get a clear timeline with your quote, before any work starts.

Do you work with agriculture and seed company founders in the US and the Middle East?

Yes. We work with founders across the US and the Middle East, with calls in your time zone and files your team can use from day one.

What do we get at the end of the project?

A logo and mark, color and typography, brand guidelines and organized master files, plus any website, packaging or launch assets in your scope.
